The flat-spired three-toothed snail (''Triodopsis platysayoides'') — also known as the Cheat three-toothed snail after the Cheat River in West Virginia — is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Polygyridae. == Description == The color of the body of the animal in this species is pale gray. The shells of adult snails are 18–22 mm in width and 8 mm in height.〔 The shell of ''Triodopsis platysayoides'' is thin, right coiled (or dextral), and translucent, with 5 whorls. It is extremely flattened in shape.〔 The umbilicus is open and wide.
